This year promises to be a very busy year for IPS product releases. This post outlines the status of our current software projects.

Invision Power Dynamic

Invision Power Dynamic is our content management system which is under the final stages of development. We have recently wrapped up the first round of alpha testing and received a lot of useful feedback from it. Development will continue through the next few months as we build towards our first public beta release.

We expect to be recruiting more alpha testers and beta testers over the coming weeks to help test and evaluate the product to ensure a smooth public deployment. We will be contacting some of our customers based on different criteria to enable us to cultivate a varied and challenging group.

Invision Power Board

Invision Power Board 2.1 will shortly be released as a public beta. All of the major features have been included and although there is still some work to be done in a few areas, it's ready to be tested by a larger audience. We anticipate a release later this week for our customers.

Invision Power Board 2.1 is the culmination of several months of intense development which has resulted in many new and innovative features which include: Restyled ACP, RSS import and RSS export, multiple calendars, Admin CP permission restrictions, in-line post and topic editing, time based auto-open and auto-close topics, enhanced MyAssistant with quick search, live updating view new posts and recent message displays.

Invision Community Blog

Invision Community Blog 1.2 is reaching the end of the initial development cycle. This version is compatible with IPB 2.1 and thus the final release dates depend entirely on IPB 2.1. The interface has been totally re-vamped offering a new and exciting visual placements editor. Re-organizing the display of your blog is as simple as grabbing a content blog and dragging it to the desired location. Very intuitive and a real time saver!

Invision Gallery

Invision Gallery 2.0 is currently in development. This version is compatible with IPB 2.1 and thus the final release dates depend entirely on IPB 2.1. This version promises to be a very exciting and stable release. Many new features are currently being developed as well as core changes to improve efficiency and stability.

New Products!

Invision Power Services is currently developing two brand new products which will be revealed over the coming weeks. Both are very large projects which will shake up their target markets. We're currently testing these products in a very private alpha testing environment and we can't wait to show them off!

Other Product News

IP TSL (Top Site List) and IP FM (File Manager) are set to be removed from our product line-up. We feel that these products don't fit in with the rest of our software range and as such we're no longer going to invest in their development. TSL customers will still receive support as per-normal although we won't be selling any more TSL licenses. IPFM customers will be contacted in due course with regards to support arrangements. IPFM is no longer available for purchase from the IPS websites.

Deux nouveaux produits sont également testés par l'équipe d'IPS. Ils donneront plus d'informations sur ces produits dans les semaines avenir.
