Invision Power File Manager v2 PDR 3 has been released for immediate download

This release is not suitable for a production/live environment, it is for testing only.

We're proud to announce the release of IPFM 2 PDR 3. This release fixes many bugs and finalises several incomplete features. A full list of bugs fixed follows at the end of this post along with the full change log.

Once again I apologise fully for the amount of time this release has taken.

Because the images currently used as placemarkers for the file icons are released under the GPL license and IPFM is not, they are not included in the main directory, you can download them from here all you need to do is place the content of the archive in the images/icons directory

You can upgrade from PDR 2 by running the upgrade_pdr3.php file in the Upgrades directory (place it in your installation root)

If you upgraded from PDR 1 to PDR 2 or PDR 3 please also run the fix_pdr2.php file in th Upgrades directory (place it in your installation root) (thanks to henry_s for allowing me access to his server)

Registration not working when guest account disabled
MySQL queries changed to prevent possible parse errors under certain conditions
ACP does not display MySQL connection error
Cookie names changed
register_globals conflict on the send message screen of the ACP
register_globals conflict on the "other settings" screen
db_connect function changed to trigger an error if the database name is invalid
Increased the length of the root_url and root_path columns in the users table
Fixed user path case error and possible parse error in the installer database creation library
Code cleanup
Small HTML error and typos fixed on group management screen
Typo fixed on skin editing screen
Language pack creation changed to allow - character
Language pack creation/editing config data not being imported, always using "default"
